Jackson Engineering is a Lincolnshire based steel fabrication company manufacturing an extensive range of recycling wear parts for industrial shredding machines.
We make Doppstadt spare parts and screens. We also manufacture spare parts and screens for other machine brands including Vecoplan, Jenz, Willibald, Peterson, C.B.I, Morbark, Komptech, Tana, Tim/Neuson, Bandit, Lindner, Untha, Hamel, Arjes, Hass and Herbold and have the ability to add other makes when a customer come to us with an alternative requirement.
To complement this service Jackson Engineering UK or JEUK provide a full refit service for part worn gates (typically those fitting Doppstadt). The worn matrix is removed, whilst the mounting back is saved and re-welded to the remanufactured section, thus giving a significant cost saving. This refurbing can also be done to some comb teeth and parts where the holder section does not get worn.
JEUK’s experience also lies in the fabrication of Trommel or Drum screens. Sometimes we are asked to straighten and correct denting on used trommels, remove and replace worn sections, or provide section plates for customers to weld on themselves. At our Navenby site we have the facilities to conduct extensive refurbs of shredding machines and the repairs of damaged or worn workings are often carried out alongside at the same time.
Our extended parts range includes fixed and swing hammers, tips, claws, holders, comb teeth, flails, various anvils, smash plates, cheek plates, top and bottom concaves, floor or scraper bars, and floor chain to fit the most common machines. Gates not already covered in the current range can be made as long as a drawing or accurate pattern is supplied. This last service needs an allowance made for additional time to construct templates and holders.
We hold stock of HB400-500 wear plate of varying thicknesses and can be called upon at short notice to cut profiles to any given design including those used by farmers and agricultural contractors. We are conversant with ploughing and sub soiling tines and also with the repair of loader buckets, often replacing wear blades and cutting edges and re-lining areas were high abrasion has occured . We are able to roll wear plate for screens up to 30 mm thick.
